Gregory Scott

I have known Chief Rasmussen since he was serving as a Lieutenant at the Lakeport Police Department approximately eighteen years ago. Thirteen years ago, I became a volunteer with the Lakeport Police Department and have been serving with Brad since that time. I retired from a 35-year career in the fire service working for CalFire with both fire management and peace officer experience. 

I have found Brad to be very knowledgeable about police, fire and disaster response, management, and recovery. Brad is also extremely knowledgeable about the people and issues in Lake County. Brad also cares about community and economic development. 

I can say without a doubt that Brad will be approachable, accessible, and accountable to the people in the community. I have watched as Brad has dealt with very complex issues such as the homelessness, mental illness and addiction and seen him implement out of the box solutions that have produced real world results. Brad keeps up with the latest developments regarding changes in policies and laws. 

He will also go out of his way to communicate with people and make it easy for them to provide their concerns regarding what is needed to keep Lake County a great place to live, work and visit. 

I feel one hundred percent that Brad is the right candidate for the District 4 Supervisor position and on March 5 th of 2024 I will cast my vote for him with confidence.
